The Mountain BOCES alternative program is a one-year principal preparation program of study and training approved to qualify candidate's for initial principal licensure. The candidate must hold a bachelor's or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university and be employed in a position that requires a principal license to fulfill the duties of the role.
